If you’re really trying to improve your performance and overall quality of life, instead of driving yourself crazy with all sorts of guru guidance and life hacks, there’s probably a very simple life change that you are overlooking: getting a full night’s sleep. Getting the actual amount that is required for a healthy, normal, functioning adult is at least 7 hours a night. Perhaps you can get away with 6 hours a night, but getting less than that and thinking that you’ll just catch up on it later is only fooling yourself. Many of the world’s highest performers don’t grind their existence into dust and make sure they get at least 7 hours a night – so why aren’t you?
