There are many different cryptocurrency ecosystems to explore. Albeit the opinions on Bitcoin SV may be divided, there is some progress being made behind the scenes.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yet overall cryptocurrency growth should never be ignored. For Bitcoin SV, it appears that things are progressing nicely in the past few weeks.
Bitstocks’ Gravity Beta
Getting listed on more cryptocurrency exchanges is crucial for any digital asset. Albeit BSV can be traded on many different platforms, adding more to the fray is never a bad development. It now appears that one of the exchanges in the UK has provided support for Bitcoin SV in the past week.
Known as Bitstocks, the company launched the beta version of its Gravity service. This is a BSV-based banking ecosystem designed to provide financial products and services. It is also a convenient way of buying BSV, as well as BCH and BTC, with GBP. A very interesting addition to the ecosystem as a whole.
It is evident that the Bitcoin SV price surged to a relatively high value last week. Even today, it shows plenty of signs of moving up further, albeit there is a lot of volatility to contend with. A blog post by Santiment explains why this price increase took place.
According to the post, there was an increase in overall social sentiment. That is usually a prominent sign of what the near-term future may hold. For now, it appears that the market is still in a relatively speculative state. The ongoing Craig Wright-Satoshi Nakamoto angle hasn’t played out in full just yet. It may continue to affect the BSV value accordingly.
Buskon App Launch
In South Korea, cryptocurrencies have almost become a way of life of sorts. For many people, it is a way of making money or generating passive income. South Korean companies also play a crucial role for different digital assets. Bitcoin SV is certainly on that list, primarily with the help of Onestore.
Earlier this month, Onestore launched the Buskon mobile app, powered by Bitcoin SV’s technology. It gives users an option to vote on content within the app. That content usually revolves around music. Users can vote for their preferred tracks by spending BSV on voting rights.
The Ecosystem Chart is Massive
Building a different cryptocurrency project is only part of the equation. Getting one’s currency adopted and building new services is a different matter altogether. In the case of Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision, things appear to be progressing rather nicely.

The latest chart shared by Peergame shows how big the ecosystem has grown. It depicts that there are 394 total projects as of January 19, 2020. This list includes various resources for interested users to take note of. The 26 protocol layers should not be overlooked either. Those will pave the way for future usage and adoption.
Genesis 1.0.0 Stable
It has been a long time coming, but a new Bitcoin SV Node version is available. Known as Genesis 1.0.0, it paves the way for the network’s upcoming genesis hard fork. This upgrade is scheduled to activate on the network on February 4, 2020. To prepare for the core changes introduced, network nodes are advised to upgrade well in advance.
It is pertinent for all node owners to install and deploy this upgrade as quickly as possible. While there is still some time to prepare for the fork, it is always advised to be early to the party.
