Finding out what cryptocurrency to buy at the right time is rather complex. Nasdaq’s Cryptoindex, known as CIX100, can offer some viable insights. The following six altcoins are getting strong buy recommendations today.
One of the altcoins receiving a strong buy signal on CIX100 is NEO. This altcoin has seen a 3.3% increase in value over the past 24 hours. Its overall trading volume looks strong, yet the push past $9 may prove difficult. Round figures often act as levels of strong resistance, yet they can also turn into solid support when broken successfully.
One of the currencies trying to mount a comeback this week is VeChain, or VET. After getting battered in the past few days, momentum appears to be shifting. Its trading volume looks a bit bleak, but the order books are stacked in favor of the buyers. Now that $0.005 has held, a small upward push isn’t out of the question.
Those who bought Augur – or REP – earlier today may have benefited already. A strong 4.4% gain has been noted. The question is whether there’s room for further gains in the hours to come. The very low trading volume, combined with potential resistance between $9.5 and $10, make that seems rather unlikely.
Lisk is one of the slower risers today. That could work in favor of this altcoin, however. With potential gains still on the table, anything can happen. That will only materialize if the trading volume surpasses $1 million, however. Certainly one of the altcoins to keep an eye on, albeit there are no guarantees.
Similar to Augur, Zilliqa is one of the “buy” altcoins which might have noted all of its gains already. A 5.4% increase is very bullish, especially under the current uncertain circumstances. Overcoming the resistance at $0.005 will be difficult, but one never knows what the future may hold.
The final currency on the CIX100 to pay attention to today is Populous. It too noted solid gains already, albeit some of that momentum has been eroded. The current 6.45% increase is steep, but a push to $0.42 is not out of the question. It depends on whether $0.4 is an active support level, however.
